  • If you foul you lose a playing ball from you store of White Balls behind the Live Line.
  • The Black Ball is respotted if it is potted, comes off the table or stops in the Playing Zone. It is left where it lies if it stops Outfield.
  • A White Ball which comes off the table is placed back on the table at the position of your opponent’s choosing. You also are docked one ball from your playing stash as normal.

There’s really only a handful of catastrophic fouls and they result in the loss of a frame point. Don’t go there. They mostly result from unsportsmanly behaviour.
